Israeli Apologists: Justify This

I can accept that the "Islamic Republic" is a little strange. To be honest I know very little about it.

I work from the principle that it's composed of people and that people are pretty much alike the world over. But of course that might not be a valid principle at all.

I notice that you don't answer my question: what do you think would likely happen to Iran if it were to attack Israel, or anyone else, with a nuclear weapon?

Isn't this a fair question, and don't you think it will have occurred to the Iranians as well?

I know it is very unlikely to happen, but I don't want the existence of my nation to be tied with the assumption that the Ayatollah leadership is logical.
Would the assumption they are aimed for self-preservation be more comfortable and more believable?
