Israeli/Palestinian Conflict

The only land given to Israel was the land that was a Jewish majority. It had to be at least 10 years, since the UN plan was over a decade after the Peel Commision plan. The areas that were majority Arab were given to the Palestinians, but, of course, they rejected the offer, as it would meant the Jews would have a state. In there words "a Jewish state the size of a postage stamp would be too big".

Your statement about New Mexico is silly, since the US isnt attempt to murder the people in New Mexico. Palestine has never been independent and the majority of Palestinians dont want independence.

can you give us some links

where does it says the majority of Palestinians dont want a state?
please back your "facts" up with proof

10 years, 30 years, there is little or no difference. If there was a substantial population overseas of some people who lived 2100 years ago where your ancestors lived for the past 2000 years and they started massively immigrating into your area with the sole purpose of establishing a new state based on their religion and their ethnicity, you'd be singing a different tune.

No, as far as I can see my statement about New Mexico makes perfect sense, whether you wish it to or not. I am not comparing the current fertile crescent to today's western u.s., i'm comparing today's western u.s. to 1900's Palestine.

This may not be true in the modern era, but, for much of its history, the Gaza strip has requested being annexed by Jordan.

Just like for much of their history Jews got along without a state.

yes it has, Israel shoots rocket at "terror suspect" kill the suspects and injure/kill a civllians while doing so

Yes, but shooting a house and killing a person or two that is walking by on the street is different then firing into a crowded market, and you know that.

well it was part of the ottomon empire before hand
all of the other Arab lands got a homeland while the UN which you keeping saying created Israel there by giving it a right to exist also said there should be an arab state of Palistine as well

I forgot when any other group was subjected to a holocaust.

What does the holocaust have to do with anything? For the majority of their history, Jews got along without a state, and did not want a state. Sorry, but although the mass-murder of 6,000,000 jews is absolutely tragic, it in no way justifies the creation of a Jewish state. Anti-semitism in the world is much larger now, than it was following world war two for example.

Do you have an evidence of Arabs being "cheated" out of their land?

Not off the top of my head, but the techniques used by Zionists, though "technically" legal, were hardly fair or morally right. That the Zionists legally bought the land doesn't mean they rightfully own it, it just means that they were good at taking advantage of the system.

Archer you claim my sources are biast yet you use your source written by someone who clearly has is own biast

you give out "facts" but refuse to offer any proof
and then you give out polling info and then only mention latter that it is 50 years old

Israel should have a high standard
two wrong do not make a right
I admit what Hamas and other groups do is evil
Israel should not go down to there level (but it is)

Because the Palestinian leadership at the time were active supporters of the Holocaust.

Even with the increasing rate of Jewish land purchases, the "quantity of Arab land offered for sale was far in excess of the Jewish ability to purchase".

Professional analysis of land sales bewteen 1880 and 1948 show that 3/4th of the plots purchased by Jews were from mega-landowners rather then those who worked locally.

Pro-Palestian Professor Rached Khalidi acknowledges that there were considerable land sales by absentee landlords.
