Are modders finding that there's suddenly a ton of issues with their mods since the move to the Workshop?

I've noticed that the "delete your game cache" routine results in all subscribed-to mods being reinstalled with the latest version on the Workshop, undermining the manual update route in the process and, I'm guessing, possibly throwing in a plethora of potential issues with/between mods that worked fine previously...

Well, there is the "I subscribed but nothing happens" bug, the "Steam workshop is down or you cannot post comments" running joke, the "hey people here is a badge if you vote a mod - oops, the ranking turned upside down in a couple of hours with some unknown mods suddenly getting more votes in 24h than the most popular mods in one month" summer gift, and finally the "Steam deleted all my mods when I tried to play offline" easter egg.

Aside of that everything is perfect.

And, yeah, there is also some civ5 bug where enabling mods can cause your game to crash if you reload a save in-game. And it's totally not reproducible and not caused by one specific mod, but rather by some alignment of stars. But this one is just one of the many bugs introduced with the pre-G&K patch and it's not caused by Steam.

I do like the Workshop and didn't mean to imply it was the fault of Steam, just wonder if perhaps a step confirming that you wish to download/install all subribed-to mods again, might be useful in order to get better control over resolving issues(?)

I'd noticed the sudden social-media-scratching-of-backs style rating ethos too, but, as a musician, that's something I'll very used to these days :P
