Boom, headshot.
So I expected to see a spoof article in the news updates somewhere. But I was unpleasantly surprised to find none! So, I have to make one of my own:
Zimbabwe to be included in Civ IV Update:
Soren personally announced yesterday that Zimbabwe, to balance out the glut of European powers, will be included in the game. Its leader will be one Robert Mugabe, and in a rare twist, he only has one personality trait: Aggressive.
"Well," Soren said in an interview, "None of the other traits seemed to fit him. Financial and organized he is not, he's hardly protective or charismatic, he's about as spiritual as Christopher Hitchens, and about as philosophical as Attila the Hun. And as we already have an Agg/Imp leader in the game, we thought that Mugabe should just get Aggressive."
Mugabe's unique power is that of Hyperinflation, which makes maintenance ten times normal. Nevertheless, Succession Game gods Sirian and Sulla have promised that they will win a succession game on Monarch with him.
"We like a challenge," they were heard to say in a forum post. "And what better challenge than the worst leader in the history of Civilization IV?"
More on this story as it develops.
