Is anyone else disapointed with teh new look of iTunes 5.0 ?

It dosnt match my windows blinds any more and it reminds me of the iPod Photos to much, which I dont have.

Also how Many Songs do you have in iTunes/iPod

I have 22 songs, mainly because I don't have the time to go through and add Music to it.

I think the interface is fine. The only annoying thing is that the buttons (minimize, maximize, close) are on the right.

Isn't that normal?

i dont have iTunes/iPod

What's new in iTunes 5.0? I never bothered with 4.9, but I must say I am very impressed with the Podcast features now available.

They went and changed the color sceam and layout to match teh color iPods better It is realy annoying since those of us taht have used it ritualy for over 2 years are stuck with the change. I would realy like an option for classic and new windows.

Yes, it changed how it looked on my Mac too. I thought this was just a Mac thing, with it moving towards the new trend in Apple applications.

The only changes were graphical?

I only have like 5 songs in iTunes that came with my computer. I was thinking of using iTunes as my music player but I didn't like their unfair marketing tactics, like not supporting WMA. I did like their smart play list features. Also, I read on wikipedia that their MP3 encoder was not very good, at least for variable bit rate. This makes me think that they deliberately made it not very good so they could artificially tout the advancedness and betterness of their AAC format.

I dont have iTunes.

I had iTunes for a few weeks once, but then I had to format and didn't reinstall. I liked Winamp better. I also didn't ask for iTunes then; it was bundled with a QuickTime install package. After I reinstalled I downloaded a package without iTunes. I saw no point in downloading something I knew I wouldn't use.

I don't have iTunes, but I have 3000+ tracks otherwise..

I didn't upgrade to 5.0 because of all the problems with it and Apple saying it has a flaw. But I have 3000 tracks in itunes and about 6000 on my desktop. I never buy those bogus drm tracks fom the itunes store though.
