All,
Couple of things I notice help:
Use the double military building trait.
Use 30% Encampment Production boost
50% settler production boost.
Build settlers encampemnts right away. Pop is plentiful. protect ur bonus res tiles from being pillaged.
Beeline Winged Hussar and then Musketman. Crossbows aint **** if they have cav.
I was the white faction so faced just tons of horseman. Not bad vs winged huss.
Get Commercial Hubs and Sukiennice. Those internal trade routes give 4-8 gold a turn and have insane boosts to production and food.
In fact a triangle of industrial zone, commercial hub, and encampment with a river and a hill/mine is everything.
Thoughts? I'm sure people have done better - Is white, blue, or yellow the hardest to play. I feel as if Blue has it the easiest with city state protection, amazing res and such, BUT face the toughest enemies - swedes and ottomans. Yellow gets it the worst I feel.
