Now that i've acquired the expansion crazyeye I have no exact idea on which way to start my first g/k game!

Should I go completely blind on my first play, or start with the simple tutorial playthrough? What civ should i best choose?

If you want to explore the religious system, Boudicca would be a good civ to start with. Play a difficult below where you normally would. The tutorials aren't going to be very useful.

Actually, I'd advise against Boudicca if you're exploring religion. It's just like I'd advise against Nebuchadnezzar for a science victory. You don't want to form habits by starting with someone that makes it easy to do what you're trying to do.
