I was never able to trade techs with AI, never. The problem is not I am not technologicalky advanced enough, but the AIs never have enough treasury to trade with me. In late ancient age, I mostly have 100 gold in packet, but AIs never have more than 20-30. Just asking, How can i trade tech with them??

You don't neccessarily (sp?) have to trade a tech for cash. You can trade a tech for another tech, luxeries, slaves, cities (hypothetically; I've never gotten a city out of the AI for tech) contact with other civs, maps, or any combination of the above. However, if you must trade for cash, then generally the AI will have more dough later on.

EDIT: In case you didn't already know, generally you can get HUGE amounts of booty from the AI for government techs, and even huger amounts if it's their preferred government.

first of all, a very warm welcome at cfc! :)

grumman, which difficulty level are you playing? it seems to me, you just want to 'sell' techs (compared to 'trading' = kind of 'swapping with a profit' :D).
and especially on chieftain, the ai is so handicapped that 1. you are way ahead tech-wise and the ai has nothing interesting to offer. 2. the ai is broke and has no money to make lucrative deals (you 'can' trade steampower for 30g and world map :D).
maybe it's time to simply move up a level?

Look at it this way - if you trade one tech to 5 rival Civs for 30 gold each, that's 150 gold gained for you, 30 lost for each of them. If you keep your tech advantage (to what usually is only a few extra turns) until one of them discovers it & trades it to everyone else, then you have no gain & no longer have a tech advantage, while the Civ who discovered it gains 120 gold, and the rest lose 30 gold. Now you have a Superpower rival - who may surpass you.

and of course, making deals depends on what the ai 'thinks' of you. you can get gold-per-turn deals out of tech trading, but most of that won't happen when you broke resource and luxury deals before, sneak-attacked the ai, etc.

The key point is its in the late acient age, I have found that the AI never has any money in the ancient age or even in the early part of the middle ages. It usually takes me until the industrial era to get any good deals, it just takes the AI that long to develop their economy to the point that they have extra gold to trade for stuff.

If you're patched beyond 1.12 (I think that's the one) then you cannot trade anything for cities except other cities (I learned this myself the hard way). This was to prevent an easy form of cheating, where you could sell a city for a ridiculous amount, then take it right back again. :)
