Sorry guys, I hate to admit it, but I really can't keep up any more. I didn't want to have to do this, but please, find somebody to replace me. I'm really sorry, but life is starting to suck time-wise, and I don't want to keep holding everyone up.

AFAIK older C3C save games, can't be loaded in v1.20

I just loaded a 1.15 game onto 1.20 and played it okay.

Superslug you should be able to write straight over beta 1.15 no reinstall necessary. Why do you need a second install, I'm sure everyone would change to 1.20 no reason not to.

1.15 games will load into 1.20. But when a 1.20 sav file is sent on the receiver will need 1.20 in order for C3C to load it as stated in readme

I'm currently up to my arse in another Hall of Fame run started under 1.15. For those campaigns I prefer to finish the game under the patch under which it was started. The chances of my game being disqualified on a related technicality are slim, but a duplicated installation will only take two minutes, whereas losing that game would cost me hundreds of hours...It's not a risk I'm willing to take.

I figure most of the PBEMs will be out of action over the v1.2 thing--which is okay because GOTM30 was just released and I can get my jollies with some good old Vanilla Civ3
