Hello there,

I'm trying to get Kampung improvement from Indonesia to another civilizations.
IMPROVEMENT_KAMPUNG

Instead of the display art, I get a red exclamation mark.

If I play Indonesia, everything's fine.

Any ideas ?

Do I need to import more than just the improvement, i.e. path to the DLC for this improvement ?

How do I do this?

The icon from the builder menu is just fine, just the map display is broken/wrong.

thanks,
hdd

hello

thanks for your answer
didn't know that

it's really great having all this forum and community when you have an issue

however, from what I've read, it's just more work ahead
not quite easy peasy or a comma here and there

:)

I hope that thread was helpful! And I agree, this community has been a great resource! I've been helped more times than I can count by others, so I'm glad to do what little I can. I'm more of a mapper, so Sejick's solution was way over my head, but I wish you the best of luck on your mod! You'll get it!

This is a month late, I know, but I just discovered that the same Sejick also made a mod called Capture Unique Improvements. It contains all the graphical fixes to make the DLC unique improvements like Kampungs show up properly for civs other than their normal owners. Happy mapping!

I haven't personally tested it, as I'm very inexperienced messing with artdefs, but this thread seems to have the solution in the last post: https://forums.civfanatics.com/thre...-exclamation-on-tiles-how-to-fix-this.642540/. Good luck!

Many thanks for the reference. A simple summary from that post which will solve the Kampung display error is as below:-
Look for the file Landmark.artdef in the game folder steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\DLC\Indonesia_Khmer\ArtDefs\Landmarks.artdef
Inside the file, search for the word "Indonesia". There is only one available. Replace that word with DEFAULT.
That's all, the display error is solved, at least for me.
