KI/AI is using the Luxury slider

I thought that they would never use their luxury tax slider.

But then I inspected Cusco and Moskwa, they both have set their luxuries set to 20%.

Both are also suffering heavly under war fatique, as I have made an alliance with both of them against Carthago and I drafted them back into the war after they made peace after end of contract (20 rounds) and heavy losses on all sides.

This war and the alliances are running now for over 100 turns as this is an island map and the KI allways landed only small groups of units at the enemys land, only to get slaughtered in the same interturn.

And yes, my nation (Spain) is fine. Unlike my enemy and allies I have no losses against Carthago (as I was busy to colonize the world and conquer Portugal) and I am in a government without war fatigue. I only want to test some modern age units I have added...

PS: I just noted, that Ekaterina has build a courthouse in her capital.

Very intresting. Perhaps when war weariness grew out of control and when clowns were hindering production too much they fiddled with the slider. Who knows?

I don't recall the exact details (have to reread Oystein's findings), but I remember there is a bug with the war weariness caused by AI-to-AI wars. Something like: depending on the turn-order, one AI is suffering the war weariness of both nations, while the other is getting none?! (Similar behavior can also be noticed in PBEM games.)
So in fact they may not be suffering war weariness after all? Both cities still look pretty happy for a 100-turn war with heavy losses... Is Carthago after these two in the turn order?

I have seen burning cities in Russia, Inka Empire and Carthago. None in the Iroquois Liga, but Hiawatha has relative low losses, as he has nearly no naval transport capacity (I have seen only a single Large Canoe, that is their flavor galley).

The turn order is:

Spain (me)
Carthago
Russia
Inka
Iroquois
Portugal (now Spain)

Difficult level is Regent.

After I posted the pictures, Pachacuti decided to break the alliance by attacking me. And since both Russia and the Iroquois made peace with Carthago the same turn (and turned on each other! ), I also made peace with Hannibal and bribed all three with ivory into my war with the Inka.

Following that nearly all cities in the Inka Empire started to burn, as two of their luxuries came from me and they are still at war with Carthago. I have not yet discovered Espionage, so I am unable to inspect the Inka Capital (no longer Cuzco).

EDIT: I forgot, that I still have the C3C Multiplayer Tool to turn the KI into human players

The Inka have suffered some defeats (I am allmost innocent in that ).

And yes those are german types of Dreadnoughts and Superdreadnoughts instead of Espana and New Mexico classes. And Russia just launched a Braunschweig Ship of the Line. It seems I have made something very wrong in the editor as everyone is building the german warship branch.

Hmm, 30% lux and 5(!) entertainers, that definitely looks like war weariness for the Incas here...
