One thing crossed my mind this morning after I red another post in Civ I.

In civ2, we can edit the rules.txt file and change a lot of thing including the kings attributes.

1 Agressive or rational
2 Expantionist or perfectionist
3 Civilized or militaristic

Did anyone has tried to put another value than 1,0,-1?

I mean, let say you want a an opponent very agressive, you would put 9 instead of 1. Does it works? My guess is, it won't change anything. The programmation would look at it to see if it is positive, null or negative only. But, who know?

The reason why I'm not that sure is because the techs put influence in any civilization.

For the Advanced Flight, there is a value of -2, so the king will become more agressive. That is why I'm wandering if the initial values at the king's attributes are based on the same thing. A set of values like this, 9 9 -9 will mean the king will be extremly barbarian compared to the others.

Does anyone know?
