lately ive been playing a MMOG and after about 15 minutes i start to experience severe lag. I was wondering if there is any way to decrease it(the lag) (except for getting a faster connection, there is no way my dad will get cable internet for this one game). I know that there will always be some lag for the game since the server is in Korea but i would just like to be able to shoot the damned tanks and damage them, not have them slide behind me. And im playing blitz 1941 in case anyone is interested.

Are we talking about actual lag (properly, latency), as in having high ping times to the server, or a framerate issue?

actual lag...the game requirements are way below my system specs and even when the game lags, it lags smoothly

I do have a question about PINGS. Is having 90-120 ping rating like, how good or bad is that? I do believe the servors I play with COD:UO are located in the US, maybe one in the UK.

I am also guessing I should stop blaming lag when I have framerate issues. (Although lag is quicker to type especialy when there are people in vehichles with an occaisional similar issue and are driving chaoticaly and near you)

the lower the ping rate the better, and i dont get the chaotic lag, i just have people stop manuevering and just drive in straight lines, through everything and even off the map.

Well the best advice I can give to you is to try and free your connection. Also try and see if you can connect to the server that is closest to you.

What do you mean by free my connection? Like kill firefox and auto-updaters? And i cant connect to a "closest server". The game is pretty new so the only server is in korea.
