Hi all. This is my first file submission. It's a title screen from my newly-adopted home city of Laguna Beach, CA. This is the view from my porch! :) I hope you enjoy it. Let me know what you think.

 Nice view!

From my porch, I can see a street of back-to-back housing, a main road, a bus stop and a cemetary.

I won't be posting that as a title screen  !

Yours is a fabulous view, Xcare87X and a nice title screen too. I'm very jealous.

Well, R8XFT, instead of being jealous I think we should be happy for brother Xcare87X's good fortune, and rejoice ourselves of the primary matters, such as that we have the freedom and health to change the view - and that we do have a porch at all. And I know some urban gothic types would be extremely happy to have a view to a cemetary

The view from my balcony is the backside of a windowless house one meter away! I get at most 20 minutes of sunshine angling into my balcony every morning when it doesn't rain which means I have to time my laundry precisely to get my clothes dried properly. Welcome to japan and their idea of architecture :( :o

I live in Mission Viejo (for those not familiar with So Cal I am about 5 miles southeast of Laguna Beach). If that is your view from your porch in Laguna Beach you must be a multi-millionaire. Places with views like that start at about $7 million for a run-down, 1 bedroom shack.

Beautiful Pic though. If is your view than congrats on many things! I live in a poorly-run apartment behind a college, across from a mall, and next to a major hospital. Traffic is always a ***** (especially around Xmas), there are drunk idiots stumbling around doing mischief most evenings, and there ar constantly sirens and landing MediVac helicopters at all hours. Sad thing is my girlfriend and I make 6 figures combined, and this is all we can afford.

Well, we're not exactly multi-millionaires (I'm a teenager still living with my parents), but we're well-off. Our place didn't start at $7 million, it started at 1.7, and that was right at the edge of our limit (with loans etc.). It's always been my parents' dream to live here, and they're finally getting there wish (we only recently moved).

Anyway, Amesjustin, the traffic is indeed hell. And considering I drive 50+ minutes/day to my high school in Fullerton, I get to experience it every single day.

And no worries, my parents make six-figures combined too. Just keep working at it, and maybe one day you'll get to live here too.

And by the way, in case anyone was wondering, those two points of land in the distance are Dana Point and San Diego.

Very Pretty, but the bright blue porta-potty in the middle of the screen kinda ruins the effect. But its pretty anyway ^^

Lol, hadn't noticed that. Yeah, seems like everyone around here is building right now (the porta-potty is for construction workers).

Oh well, I don't think it's that noticeable.

I didn't see it before, but now it jumps out at me. I love SO Cal. I was in San Diego last year and I must say it is a beautiful place without the bugs we have here in Texas.

Whatta view. I live in a respectable housing complex. Nice views of an internal park but nothing compared to this. You're a real lucky kid. :goodjob:
