This is my first post here. I have often read many strategy discussions here in the past and this forum has been truly instructive.
I am postong today to inquire as to whether there are Civ IV players in the Montreal, Canada, area who would like to play LAN with a group of friends. We get together and play once or twice a year. Lately several have left and we would like to include new players with fresh strategies.
At the moment our next game is planned for Sept 1st at noon. We have a good number coming (5-7) and the play level is quite decent. We play FFA, fast turn timer, standard map, continents and islands script with no tech trading and no vassals. Players can otherwise freely wheel and deal amongst themselves.
