Just a quick question, what's the max number of leaders I can have per game? I know about the 1 leader per 4 cities thing, and I read somewhere the max was 4. Just wondering if that's the max at any given time or the total max per game.
That is untrue. That limit stands for the number of armies you may have. I believe the number of leaders spawned in a game is not limited by any rule. The real problem are the conditions to get one. The probability is so low that you end up getting only 1 to 4 leaders in a game.
1/16 times an elite unit fights and wins it will be come a great leader.
After building heroic small wonder that drops to 1/12
There are no specified limits on leaders other than probability to my knowledge
However, there are only 8 leader names for a given civ. Dont know if that is a limiting factor or not.
If it is you can just add more names in one of the text files in your civ 3 folder. (I do this anyway just to make it more interesting)
