Leader Switching

Does anyone else think it would be cool if (in exchange for a massive period of anarchy) you could switch leaders mid-game?

"cool" perhaps, but overpowered, and partially defeats the purpose of choosing a leader.

I wouldn't mind this being an optional feature like "unrestricted leaders." But I do think that it would have to be in exchange for pretty massive anarchy, and limited to leaders from your current civilization unless "unrestricted leaders" is enabled.

I think it would be fun to experiment with, but I would expect some hefty limitations to its frequency.
