Leaders are not animated

Hello,

This is probably a stupid question, but how come leaders during diplomacy are not animated? Only a still picture appears, but nothing "moves." Anyone any idea how to fix this?

Im running XP, so i have DX9.

First upper option in Video option menu.
Althou if you change it game can crash, like with my games. When set on Minimum it seems that no animation is done, but when I change it - game CTD during loading new game.

Ahh.. so this is the only way to fix it?

Yes, it is :/.
Unanimated leaders are for the lowest settings, and you have to go up to "fix" that.
