"I don't think that slavery is really any better or worse than working 9-5 every weekday for almost your entire life. Sure, there were a few exceptions where slave owners treated their slaves very very poorly, but for the most part they were basically just treated like minimum-wage workers are treated today. Do your job, and you'll have food and shelter."

I get the "Economic Left/Right: 5.75". That seems pretty aligned with the content of your posts, but the "Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 6.26" confuses me.
You have the tax and welfare policy of a libertarian, but you seem to be in favor of government intervention in peoples personal lives... Is you wallet more important then your freedom to control your life? I've taken the test, and to score that high on the authority scale you need to be against quite a few things, and approve the banning of them.
I don't really have a point, I'm just baffled.
Kind of reminds me of left-wingers who hate tobacco but want to legalize marijuana.

Basically, I'm in favor of legislating basic fundamental morality. I also think that there is a power hierarchy in the world with leaders and followers and that there's nothing wrong with that; it should be embraced and accepted. People should understand that there will always be people more intelligent, more capable, and more informed than they are and should not expect people to treat all opinions equally. Essentially, by recognizing that some individuals are superior and some are inferior, I think society would run a lot more smoothly. And please note that I said some individuals are superior or inferior, not some "races" or some "genders" or anything kooky like that.
Yeah, I don't get that, either. I think it's mostly due to the pro-marijuana propaganda running around and partly because tobacco is run by "big, evil corporations" whereas marijuana obviously is not.
