My least favorite is the Koreans, which you missed on the poll. They're just totally useless.

I don't like England and America either but England is good in certain scenarios and America has a good bonus combo.

Without a doubt the ZULU's

The expansionist trait is largely duplicated by the Impi and the Impi as a spearman is in direct opposition to the Zulu's militaristic trait. In short the Zulu as a civ in the game are poorly designed. Make the Impi an attacker (archer/longbowman based are possibilities) and you can improve this civ by a good measure.

It doesn't hurt to see America coming so bad out. After all they do have the lousiest UU in the game.
The Zulus are not that bad - I mean Impis are not worse than Keshiks (Since mongols and zulus have equal traits)

Who says Impis are not worse than Keshiks? It all depends on the map. Keshiks would work very well in mountainous ironless places.

I still think that the Impi is a very good unit.

the Dutch are lovely to play with but when i stand against them they are the biggest *ssholes in the world. maybe it is becuase i play with the Germans or the French lol (or the Spanish hihihihhihihi )
To play with i find Rome SUCKS becuase i dont know their style is not mine

England because:
1) When I play them, they have a naval UU with a very short life span. Personally, I'd rather see it changed to the longbowman that dominated warfare around the time of Agincourt.
2) When the AI plays them, they're consistently weak and just waiting to surrender. It appears they're run by Casper Milquetoast rather than the queen who took on the Spanish Armada.
The England of Civ3C is nothing like the England that owned 1/4 of the earth's landmass and dominated it culturally and politically. Being of English heritage, this is rather disappointing.

I choosed Zulu, because that civ has a UU that appears to soon.

I picked France. France never does anything but annoy me (in the game). I have also never liked playing with them (do not know why though).

What I do not get is why America got so many votes. They tend to be my best Civ to play. The UU they have is not that great, but I love the trait combination and how the culture group they are in is full of early UU that tend to waste golden ages. I think the culture group a civ is in is not looked at enough to determine how good/bad they are.

Mind you, Mao pees me off with his "does your backwards civ wish to trade with mighty china?" whilst German agents in Beijingkeep informing me china is miles behind. The Japanese are so much more dignified (were, sorry,before i eliminated them). A visit to Kyoto (before it, through some military persuasion, joined the reich) is much more pleasant. Seems Korea is missing, but i find them useful as the "whipping boy" nation...demanding they give their whole treasury (yes, i know it rarely amounts to more than three gold).

Wall Street is a small wonder, I'd bet that if you looked at Seatle or Miami you might see that Lincoln has built one as well. And how could anything in Bremen be named 'Wall Street" anyway?

I voted the Russians, i know it must be just my copy of the game, but the Russians seem to have an aggression level of like, 12. I don't think i've EVER played a game with the Russians where they didn't declare war on me, and NEVER through a straight delcaration, ALWAYS through a sneek attack.

Close second is the Celts, they like to declare war on me too, but they are also major backstabbers. Once i was in a war (with Russia) and enlisted the Celts to fight on my side, and then all the sudden they canceled the alliance and signed up with the Russians in an alliance against me! I never quite got over that one.

Celts, how did they make it to Civ3 in the first place when there are more important European civs that didn't.

The Celts were actially one of the more important civ's in European history. They were the first Civ to ever sack Rome (C. 350 BC) which forced Rome to build up its military machine. The Celts were eventually pushed off the main European Continent by the Romans and Germanic tribes but were still actively resisting Rome in England and Ireland when Rome fell in 451 AD. Eventually they came under the rule of the Angles and Saxons in England but had remained somewhat independent up to the Norman conquest of England.

I'd say America. I never use their F-15 unit and I don't like the traits very much. When I play against them, they always come to me with some crazy demand and they declare war on me when I don't accept it. BTW, I can see why people hate the Zulu. I hate them too.
