I have added two new units: AttackChopper and AirTransport to my Civ3. Both of them can be produced after Synthetic Fibers advance is reached. The small icons of these units appear on Scientific Advisor screen in Synthetic Fibers field.

But this field now has seven icons in two rows.
SciAdv_after.jpg

Before it had five icons in one row.

There appeared a small problem with length of the blue arrow between Synthetic Fibers and Stealth field... How can I change length and shape of arrows between civilization advances?

Edit the file science_modern.pcx found in the Civ III\Art\Advisors screen and simply lengthen the problematic line.

If you need an editor I understand that alot of people around here like Paintshop Pro

http://www.jasc.com/download_4.asp?

That is a link the the trial software.

Next questions, the same kind of:

You see here new advance, Psychology (with Great Wonder - Freud's Psychoanalysis) [as I remember made by Ukas - :thanx:].

The problems are:
1. How to remove the "last advance sign"
advisor-last_advance.JPG
on Sanitation field?
2. How to put the arrow to connect Sanitation and Psychology?

====

By the way, you see here my own variant of storing food:
the Pyramids rendered obsolete by Electricity, and Ellectricity allows to build Refrigeration, which acts as Pyramids, but around whole world, not on the continent only.

Electricity allows to build Transatlantic Cable - you see its icon, too [:thanx: Ukas again!!! :) ]...

PS
During I have been preparing my post I found Duantalus answer. Thank you for the link, I will try to work with.

The "last advance sign" is actually a "not required for age advancement" icon, to disable it, de-select the un-toggle the "Not required for era advancement” in the editor for the required tech, in this case it is Sanitation. As for editing the line, you need to edit the science_industrial.pcx, but if you are using either PTW or C3C, this would need to be in the PTW\Art\Advisors or C3CArt\Advisors directories, respectively.

<Edit>

By the way, this probably belongs in the creation and customization forum, so look out for Padma.

It was simpler than I was afraid, really! :thanx: Duantalus !!!! It was not necessary to download Paintshop Pro, my favorite (and free) Irfanview (http://www.irfanview.com/) works with .PCX files well enough :thumbsup:

By the way, I was not sure, :undecide: where should I to ask: in technical support here, or in cereation/customization there ...
