Well, I think AoA was too harsh on Killer when he banned him. The post leading up to this is here.
ERIKK tried to post a (very nicely worded) grovel asking for Killer back, and was legitimately censored. I get the impression this is the place to beg to AoA or TF, so here I am.
Please give us Killer back! AoA, he wasn't trying to usurp your authority when he PM'd TF. If you remember, you have banned Killer before for PM'ing you, so that wasn't really a valid recourse for him. A PM to TF is a lot less public than posting in this forum too, but I suppose you would have prefered it if he had posted his grevances here...
I have issues with the overbearing nature of mods sometimes, yet I accept that we support a diverse community, and the mods represent that diversity.
AoA, you have strong opinions, and are not afraid to say things that upset people (and I don't think there is anything wrong with this). However, when you do this and you are the mod, people will question your authority. Would it not be better to accept that and not be quite so strict? Do you think that you are encouraging an open discussion when you come very close to the line yourself and crack down on people who are only just over it?
Just my 2 cents. I have thought this for a long time, and despite the forum rules I am scared of being banned for questioning the way a mod works.
