Lethal Bombard?

Plus it looks like a wheelbarrow ....

On flipping the best solution seems to be rush something cultural, like a temple or library asap. Once they have something of your culture it makes it a lot less likely.

Or,... just not make the H'wacha lethal. It's totally ridiculous to have a weapon from the middle ages be an integral part of an artillery stack during the industrial/modern ages.

It had to be lethal to trigger GA.

Overpowered? It merely helps to win already won games. It is the sci/com combo which is overpowered after MA. Fortunately, that is balanced by its weakness at the start (nothing useful in AA!)

IMO Hoplites are much more powerful than Hwachas :)

:stupid: Do you really believe that?!?!?! It is not stupid to have bombardment units from the middle ages in a modern or industrial start! There are only two a few units with leathal bombard and there is only one before hwachas and that one the dromon sucks! Middle age units especially cavalry and hwachas (for you korea lovers out there) are very effective.:gripe: sorry i was talking to a different guy not you

Ahem! If you were referring to my post, then let me clarify what I was talking about.

When I said it was ******** to have Korean players using Hwachas in an artillery stack during the industrial and modern ages, I was not talking about game stategy. I was talking about realism. How realistic is it to have a middle ages weapon being able to kill, but the same not being true for artillery or radar artillery. That's what I was talking about.

From a game strategy standpoint, then yes. Using Hwachas along with artillery/radar artillery makes perfect sense, as you can use them to deliver the knockout blow to wounded units. (Although some might consider this to be an exploit.) But that is NOT what I was talking about in my original post.

And Missiles can kill units, but just like artillery, they don't destroy city improvements.

Arty will both kill population and destroy city improvements but only after all defending units are down to 1 HP.

True, I meant they didn't do it at random like bombers would.
