Hello all,
I'm a long time lurker, but with a brand new account. I dabbled into civilization since the first iteration, but never became a mastermind in deity level tactics. I'm the kind of guy who doubts which tile to work even when it's obvious.
Since I have quite a lot of free time nowadays, I decided to go for it, to become a deity master... or at least squeeze one victory out on deity.
For that I need one or more teachers, and since I guess more people are a bit like me, I thought it would be a good thing to have a thread where each turn, screenshots are posted, high level players can post their thoughts and people like me can follow and ask questions. Yeah, I know, I could look to let's plays, but even the guys who explain what they do, sometimes do things that are not explained and feel strange to me.
Before I post a starting situation, I'd like to know if
- there is a thread like this already (didn't found one)
- there are people interested in following and/or posting their strategic thoughts
- what maptype, -size and speed would be best to do this
- whatever else I forgot
If there is interest in this, the starting situation will be posted tomorrow (24/10) somewhere in the evening (GMT).
