Sorry if in wrong place.
Playing as Greece. China conquered megara. It was returned in peace treaty. However it is no labeled as occupied even tho I founded the city. When trying to make a deal to get China to cede the city it does not show. In fact the city of megara does not even appear on my list of city's. It's just a dead city now. Any info?

There is a known bug
When you take a city it asks if you want to keep it, if you declare peace before making this decision the city stays in occupied status.
The AI rather cleverly does this every now and then to you, so feel free in doing it back, I do not consider it an exploit because the AI does it.

Take their best city and declare peace before deciding to keep it. Then give it back to them as a dead city, such a shame.

It's my original city. I founded it. I could have sworn before the update I'd get it back with out the need to barter. Just boom. Back.

I have no idea what you just meant. Before or after the patch, if someone takes your city you either have to attack and take it or make a deal for it. I am saying when they took the city from you it could have got the bug.

There is currently a bug every time you get a city that you can liberate through a peace deal. Basically, when that happens, you by definition have to decide whether or not to liberate after the peace deal. This sequence of events runs into the bug that Victoria is referring to, so that regardless of whether you keep or liberate the city, it remains occupied. Perhaps this is a related issue? It's a little bit strange because it was your city originally, but it might have some weird sequencing.

The only way I know to solve the issue is to declare war again, and either get another peace treaty or eliminate them.
