So I'm playing a warmongering Viking empire that's just about to leave the Ancient Era. We've obliterated the Ottomans and are currently fighting the Arabs, who just managed to kill my Archer army (the curs!)...

A quick look at Demographics reveals the average Life Expectancy of my stout Viking citizens to be 22 years of age... o_O

Anyone knows how Life Expectancy is calculated? What's the lowest possible score?

From Bamspeedy:

Life expectancy: % of your citizens who live in a city with a granary, aqueduct, AND hospital. Minimum is 20, maximum is 99.

:)

What's the best and worst you've had? I think 32 and 80 something. But I think I've had less than 32 in the beggin. But that 32 was pretty late. I feel confused about this.

Your stout Viking warriors all go off to get themselves killed. You should be more peaceful ;)

Never! :D

Thanks for the info Gainy bo! Is there a list anywhere, any site or so, where you can see how Demographics are calculated? I've always liked Demographics but I never bothered learning how it works.

That list is not entirely accurate. I proved a couple of them wrong in my (only) OCC game.
