Limit on Multisession Discs?

If you have a CD-RW or DVD-RW, is there limit on # of sessions you can write to it?

I tried googling, but didn't get anything useful.

I use Nero, cos it was installed with the computer.

I would think the limit is in capacity. So once you fill the CD/DVD to capacity, you cant multisession anymore. Otherwise, what happens if you have a bunch of < 1mb files to burn. If there was a numerical limit on the number of burns then you would likely waste a lot of the cd.
