I have converted WW79 scenario (which is in turn a conversion of Civ 2 scenario with a same name) to Yoda Power's Giant Earth map. I did it because I think that the scenario could have used a larger map and that Giant Earth deserves some scenarios to be made for it. Number of cities and units, their locations, player data matches the original the best I could. The following changes were made though:
- Scenario is now in *.biq format and therefore could use Conquests features;
- Some cities were given more correct names (i.e. Yekaterinburg was renamed to Sverdlovsk), some were replaced (i.e. Stockholm with Oslo (NATO member), The Hague with Brussels);
- Europe and North America are now in locked alliance;
- To make it more Civ2-like units and buildings require no resources, buildings produce no culture;
- Larger map now looks much emptier than old one, but you may build Settlers to colonize it;
- There are no playable Expansionist civs for not to spawn Scouts in the beginning of the game;
