Is there a list of changes made to old Civs to see what was changed with BNW? I know France now has a new unique building (Chateau) but I was wondering if anything else was changed on the old Civs. Thank you.
France has only that in their ua, or did they keep the +2 culture?
If it's only double theme bonus in the capital, it's only suited for culture victory and the worst UA ever, as it also only works in the capital and the bonus hardly seems too impressive for one coming so late in the game.
But I didn't play it, unfortunately. 12th, come faster...

The +2 culture per city per turn until Steam Power is gone. It is a whole new UA. It's called City of Light. Yes, it's fairly restrictive towards cultural victory, but at least you could go tall and plow through a bunch of social policies and tenets with it and the Chateaux.
Chateau
Technology: Chivalry
Yield: +2 culture and +2 gold, with additional culture (+1) and gold(+2) after researching Flight. Confers a 50% defense bonus. Must be built next to a luxury resource. Cannot be built adjacent to another Chateau. A Hotel adds 50% of the Culture from the Chateau to the city as Tourism.
