List Your Biggest UI Grievances

I'd like a city list like in 5 where you could actually sort by production/science/etc, and click on the city or what it was building to go to the city would be nice. That 'reports' screen isn't cutting it. Also, it doesn't seem to show include any of the adjacency bonuses (if I want to try and decide which card is worth using). Additionally, trying to figure out which luxuries I'm getting through trade involves a lot of squinting at tiny icons at the bottom of a report. A unit overview list ala 4 would also be nice.

I know this has been complained about already, but to re-interate: who thought it would be a good idea to center the screen on your battles - and then put up giant rectangular message blocks center screen about the action (you've been hit for x points by an encampment, your x has been sunk, etc.), blocking the view of the actual events!?

Maybe they can put all the gossip scrolling on the top of your screen (and in a journal where it can be sorted). Like some sort of news summary.

Oh, and the squiggly lines between tiles in strategic view is just annoying. Just give me straight line hex edges!

I'd swap them around. Squiggly lines in the 3D view, and straight lines in the strategic view :)

You do have a "journal" in each leaders diplomatic screen with all those reports...

Yes but it's:
A) very inconvenient to use being stuck at the side (at least on my laptop screen). I'd prefer one screen that puts all the info together and not in the bottom-left corner and that I can sort and filter. If they add some nice visual aid to help me know what sort of item is it (started a wonder? cleared a barb camp? got a delegation?) that would be even more helpful.
B) Requires me to open a diplomacy screen for every civ which is both time consuming and feels like I'm calling a world leader just to catch up on gossip which feels strange to me from a role-playing perspective. I'd like something that feels like I'm getting news headlines or check intelligence with my foreign adviser.

Sadly, advisers in Civ6 (Or the one adviser left) do only their least helpful function - suggesting what to build and research (which is distracting). I hope they will return to give concentrated data and control in a way that will support decision making and may even point out things I might have neglected (unimproved resources? potential trade deals? a new barb camp?). I think the pendulum went too far towards putting everything on the map, to the point where I need to constantly scroll the map and call leaders or risk neglecting things and waste a lot of time on it. A notch or two back will make the game better, for me at least.
