It's early, but things are going well. The Aztecs attacked me (Incas) and I ended up taking both their cities.

So now I have this army. What to do, what to do....

Harold has a really nice city close to me. Why shouldn't I take it, the weakest player int he game has already denounced me. Hey, Monty attacked me first, it was self defense.

I'm thinking just grabbing a city because it's close to you and built on hills (I'm Inca) is maybe not such a good idea.

But everyone is going to hate me anyway.

Hmmm.....

You're already doomed, so just go for it.

If it's continent you "might" have a saving chance to find the other civs liking you.

But kill all AI on your continent first.

In Civ V, your citizens blab about their conquests to new civs when you meet them. So they'll hate you as well.

But if you already control your landmass, your probably well on your way to victory anyway.

It doesn't seem too hard to make someone DoW you. Start with telling Harold not to settle near you and make sure your borders are touching or close to it. I don't quite understand the warmonger functionality. I thought if you got DoWed then you wouldn't be a warmonger, but can certain things still make you a warmonger?

1. Capturing cities
2. Not accepting a peace treaty neutral or better
3. Taking the capital
4. Wiping out the enemy entirely
