Good analysis, LK. I've found that religious isn't as important in RandR, as there are so many other ways to get happiness, although short revolts would be nice in the AA. Counselors outweigh all that by a good bit.
On the other hand, I've found AGR to be more beneficial than SCI, as the sci buildings don't cost that much and the free tech effect is diluted with all the extra techs. The main reason I usually play SCI is for SCI leaders, but you don't approve of those, correct?
AGR makes a huge difference in the AA (pay attention to which AI civs dominate, it is usually the AGR ones), with the underrated later benefit of railed deserts supporting themselves food-wise.
That said, Korea would be fun to try out the uber-hwatcha of RandR, and is the only civ that builds both trait-specific buildings (Wisemen and Counselors).
