Location of CD Key for Civilization Chronicles

I've been trying to find my cd key for Civ4 from the Civ Chronicles edition but I can't find them, anyone know where they are located?

(I'm asking for the location, not a key).

EDIT: An answer sooner rather than later would be greatly appreciated.

Because I (think I) need to activate it with STEAM in order to buy BTS off of steam (as it will not let you buy it unless you have Civ4 since it requires Civ4).

The disk versions of the game do not have, nor require, a CD key.

If you want to buy BTS via STEAM, my recommendation would be to also buy Civ4 via STEAM. (Even if it means buying something you already own.)

Damnit. It even says;

Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword requires Sid Meier's Civilization IV to play and will work with boxed retail versions as well as the Steam version.

I guess I'll just wait and see if I can find BTS in a store then, I havn't played civ in ages anyways and I have plenty of new games I need to play.

I got mine through Amazon for under $20. Shipped to my door in only three days. I'd previously ordered it from Direct2Drive, but couldn't get it to load.

Except that completely defeats the purpose of getting it for a cheaper price. Amazon needs shipping, I've often seen rather dumb pricings for games, who know is the cheapest seller on amazon.com will even sell to canada.

I live in Vancouver, and I found BtS at Futureshop for $17. Maybe you could try looking for it in Futureshop?
