Logitech's Resource Pack

The resources pack downloaded cleanly, and after closer examination in Adobe Photoshop, appears to be excellent. I also copied and pasted the resource list that you give into the readme text, which you might want to think about doing. I was looking at putting
resources on the Rise of Asia map that I downloaded, and this looks pretty much exactly what I need. Thanks very much for your efforts.

You are quite welcome!

And for all those expecting Multi-resources, I promise I will try and work on them soon. If I find it too difficult, I'll let you all know that it will be a long time.

EDIT: I'm sorry to let you all down, but I completely forgot about this whole multi-resource thing. I have since gotten involved in the star trek mod, so I proebly won't be making these. I MAY work on these again someday, but it will probebly be a long time. Once again, I'm sorry, I know a lot of you were really looking forward to these. :(

uh nooo.
this happens so much.
im using the civ3 ptw editor and the icons just show up like stupid tiles that are on the replay screen

EDIT: never mind. it worked!!!!!!

great icons btw im defenetly using these (when i post my mod remind me to credit you.)

I am having extreme difficulties adding the resorces so that they don't have a pink box around them in the game civilopedia. Everything else is fine and it works in the game. It's just the civliopedia that's causing me problems.

I also don't know what I am supposed to enter for the pediacon text.

But I am trying to add stone, tropical birds, olive oil, wool, sake, silver, camel, (Meso-American) rubber, (Copper) Bronze, Mazie, Salt, Amber, and Crabs.

Oh, gosh, this is an old thread now...
Your Pediaicon.txt file basicly defines the graphics used in the civilopedia, so it's pretty simple. You need to use some graphics files for the pediaicons. I didn't make those, but there are some scattered in Conquests and Play the World art folders (It should be ...Art\Civilopedia\Icons\Resources. In there you'll find lots of paired files, like aluminumlarge.pcx and aluminumsmall.pcx. These are the pictures displayed in the civilopedia.). You can use the Pediaicons.txt to use some of those pics in place of any resources you've added in the editor. For example, let's say you added a stone resource in the editor and you typed in a Civilopedia entry called GOOD_Stone. In your Pediaicons.txt, find the other GOOD_ entries, and add this to the text and save:
#ICON_GOOD_Stone
art\civilopedia\icons\resources\quarry_large.pcx
art\civilopedia\icons\resources\quarry_small.pcx
(These files really do exist and look good for stone resources. They are in Conquests)
That should do it. If there's a problem, let me know, or look for a tutorial here
