Longer eras

Always felt that eras in newer civ games always went by too quickly.

You could skip certain units because in a few turns another much better unit became available.

So a game mode where eras are more "lived through" and more clearly felt would be awesome!

I agree.
And don't tell me to choose epic or marathon speed, as these speed not only lengthen the era but also lengthen the unit training time, it doesn't help.
