Longer (more turns) scenarios

I would like the scenarios, or at least some scenarios, to have more turns.... I dont like scenarios that only take 70 or 100 turns....the feeling is so bad for me, that the only scenario I ever finished in civ2 civ3 civ4 was "after the apocalypse" in civ2

the others i didngt play, because i felt sorry after few turns, that the scenario will finish in no time....

yes limited turns is what I dislike about civ.

what do you think? I am afrid I wont even properly finish civ4 scenarios before civ5 is out....

There are many long civ scenarios/mods. In Civ2 I'm very fond of Seeds of Greatness for instance. Most scenarios in Civ 4 I feel were only a map with set starting places, though. Fall from Heaven had some nice long scenarios, but fantasy may not be what you're looking for.

Try Dune Wars (link in my sig) based on the works of Frank Herbert. Works great on Epic speed for some long, long games.

 

[Challs]

Some scenarios take a really time to finish. Also there are mods with even longer scenarios.
