Looking for some mods or scenarios

Idk if its me but after coming back after a while I noticed a lot of scenarios were missing on the list, some really good ones too. Also seems like the creators are long inactive or left? Is there like another link or archive of the old scenarios still around?

Yeah, with at least one server migration and a complete rejig of the forum programming in the last two years, a lot of good stuff has fallen by the wayside, especially if the respective creator(s) had lost interest in continuing to curate it. AtomicGamer-hosted stuff is mostly gone, as is StormOverCiv, and the DyP-guys' website. Far as I can tell, though, anything that was hosted directly at CFC is still available, and some of the other stuff is still around too, if you look in the right place.

Best place for the most current information is the thread for whichever specific mod(s) you're interested in, and hopefully you should be able to find most of those here. Even if the original creator is no longer around, someone may still be able to point you in the right direction.

Just to give you some idea of what's still up: in the last couple of months, using the links I've found (or been given) here on CFC, I've DL'd (off the top of my head) LordoftheMods, TheRood+TheDragon, TheDesert+TheMountain, WorldWide, CCMv.1.8 (v.2.0 is coming soon...), FightfortheHumanBody, RhyesMod, as well as several other EarthMap-mods. EscapeFromZombieIsland also still seems to be available, and the WH40K-mod guys are still pluggin' away.

Possibly, unless someone still has the .zip files and is willing/able to re-upload them (you'd have to ask in the thread). And of course there's always the 'Pacific War' Conquest from Firaxis.

But if you're willing to accept alternatives, in the 'C3C Completed Modpacks: Modern Scenarios' section, I found this Great War mod, and this Civ2-Civ3 WWII-conversion mod's also still up, by the look of it. You may need to search through the respective threads for the most recent/ valid links. Unfortunately Civinator's Storm Over Europe mod lost its host-site, and since he's planning to update it (right after he's finished updating RaRR and CCM... ), the old version hasn't been re-hosted anywhere else yet.

Although it's a little more modern a setting, have you tried AntonyBoscia's ColdWar/ WW III mod?

that great war mod is good but was hoping to find the other one, think it was called guerre or something. units and ships looked similar to that of AoI and tech tree was different. ww2 reloaded i only played once or twice long ago and wanted to try it again. If anyone has any of these still, would appreciate a link

Wagoncrash, both scenarios you are searching were done by Moff Jerjerrod.

His scenario WW2-Global Reloaded is based on Rocoteh´s great scenario WW2 Global. Moff and also myself have Rocoteh´s permission to update his great scenario about WW 2. My current version WW Global Gold (a title that was found in cooperation with Rocoteh at the SOC site) at present is not available as it needs an update (tjs282 thank you very much for your explanations about that above ).

Both scenarios done by Moff are not only "not available". Moff deleted his posts in his threads for unknown reasons, showing that he doesn´t want to have something to do with them in the future. From time to time he visits CFC again. The last time I noticed him was here: https://forums.civfanatics.com/threads/happy-birthday-wyrmshadow.607639/

May be it´s a good idea to contact him about both scenarios.
