I have a little more time on the weekends than during the week. If you could work on quotes first, that would fit in better with my schedule.

I'll be traveling in the middle of the week. I assume Christmas (December 25) is a big holiday (or is it holy day) in Australia.

Is this what needs to be completed for beta?

(1) Processing any further comments from JH24 and other alpha testers
(2) Saig artwork (is there any other artwork)
(3) quotes for several factions and several techs?

I haven't gone beyond the major English speaking forums for the alpha. I think it would be best to wait for the other forums for the release of the beta. What do you think?

Using Civilisation terms, Australia's state religion is Free Religion. So in other words, it's a seasonal excuse to spend lots of money! Of course Christians such as myself celebrate Jesus' birth on Christmas but hey that's not the norm anymore.

Yes, with qualifications. With regard to artwork, the only ones that I really need to do are Saig, spy captured and village discovered. I could replace everything (any may eventually do so) but they are less critical things, for example, the capturing base picture.

EDIT: Flat colours are done on Saig now, shading will probably only take an hour or so from now.

God willing the beta should be ready soon. As it's not that far off I agree with your statement to hold off for a little while.

On a side note, I've noticed an interesting bug: when Doom Butterflies (gravship_ attack a Spy (gravship) the Spy doesn't get any of its normal penalties and defends as if it was a normal unit. I've lost Doom Butterflies to units with 0 defence.

So far the majority of my time today has gone into a piece that'll be a gift to the friend that did all the drawing for this. What's left is about half of the quotes, and the three pictures (entertainer, village, spy).
