Lost my shortcut and cant find it

I have no idea what I did but the shortcut I made on my desktop disapeared today. I tried to make another one but I cant locate the file for some reason. I run vista and I looked under program files but there is no sign of the game installation. When I run the setup from the CD it recognizes the 1.7 version so apparently I still have the game. I can run the game from autorunning the CD but I like just being able to double click the shortcut to play. Any help? Thanks!

Heh, this game is so unbelievable I just noticed, I can't make a shortcut to BtS either.

Oh yeah and, before I reinstalled the game in order to get BtS to work, I noticed that my Civ 4 had installed in a very random file. I don't remember where though... You just gotta use the custom installation, or the game will screw your folders.

in vista 64 bit the game should install in c:\program files (x86)\

the game shouldn't do anything random - what do you mean with that?
in any case what operating system is this? do you know where it is installed to?
