Lost time on Steam

About a month or two ago, I had about 1,400 hours on Civ 5 on Steam... now I have more like 1,300.

Does anyone know how this really works, is it only in the last year, for example?

I'm asking, not because it's important, but because I find it rather odd. How can you "lose" 100+ hours?

Is there anyone who can answer these questions?

Wormhole? Check your leaders pictures ...if they all have goatees and sashes you are playing in the alternative steam universe.

Yup, mine all have goatees. Thanks for pointing this out. I wouldn't have thought to check that.

PS: Catherine's goatee is really scraggly; you'd think they could do better.

for whatever reason, steam says i have played batman: arkham asylum (not city) for 3 minutes. i have beaten it twice through. but i still have my 500+ hours of civ v.

No idea, my X-Fire and Steam play times for the same games often conflict, with X-Fire having longer times.
