YOu dont kill the '!'. At this point you must make sure all your units are at weathertop and save the game as 'save1.sav' Then use the 'fell' bat file that came with the scenario.

dooooh... I know now... missed the part about saving when I killed the witchking.. thanx :goodjob:

Quite right. Weathertop is the first '!' save point. But please make sure to save your game as 'game1.sav'. Otherwise the delevents wont work when you run the 'fell.bat' as it's geared up to look for a save file called 'game1.sav'.:)

Nice touch with the crows in the thingy ;)

I've been lurking here for some time now, but now I just had to reply. FF thanks a lot for making these GREAT scenarios. For me this is the best one so far. It captures the feeling of Middle-Earth so well, it's just perfect and those grafics!

:goodjob:

So I'm off to bree... again. I think I'll try to catch up with Gandalf this time. Thanks again and keep up the work,

Peter

Thanks. :)

NB: POSSIBLE SPOILER FOLLOWS!!

Getting Gandalf is tricky. If you've read the books you'll know where he is and that he wont be there for long. The only way I've been able to do it so far is having Strider race there and set off the Gandalf event before it's too late. But that of course means leaving the hobbits to make their own way through the dangerous marshes (...unless, of course, you've found them some 'other' help).

ARGH! I've only found four ppl to help me.. can't seem to find the last one :(

:) Who've you found so far?

 I just realised that, if you include Merry, there's actually six people to meet on route that can join the original party of three.

*** LOOK AWAY IF YOU DON'T WANT A CLUE ***

I'm impressed that you got Gandalf without finding the secret character first.

*** OKAY... IT'S A CRYPTIC CLUE ***

actually I didn't get gandalf.. because I was too slow.. but I know how to get him.. just wasn't making myself clear enough I know.. oh well.. have to try it some more I guess..

but I'm really curious about the project you were working on before Mora. but I understand that you don't wan't to say anything about it ;)

....Ahhhh, I'm working on that one right now.
It's too early to say anything about it yet other than what's already been said. Tolkien but different to everything else I've done. ;)

I've been away from this site for awhile busy with Christmas stuff and a job change, and looky what I find when I come back :D Another LOTR scenario from FF[dance] Now I'll never get my current game finished :(

BTW, while both excellent, I found Moria more enjoyable than ROTK. ROTK actually got too easy rather quickly.

Downloading now and hope to find time to start it tonight :D

Sam succumbed to the evil of the One Ring.

is a GREAT special effect!
Poor Sam.

Fellowship is altogether a very movie-like experience. I enjoy it much more than Moria, which already impressed with its extremely beautiful design.
