Hi everybody,
I havent been able to play a game in weeks due to all these weird random problems I seem to be having. Missing UI, wrong unit graphics, weird loading screens, and other oddities.

Ive given up on trying to figure out which mod(s) are causing the issues , and now just want to delete all the mods and start fresh.
Problem is, I tried that, went into the directory and manually deleted everything in the MODS folder. EXCEPT THEY'RE STILL SHOWING UP! They all still pop up in the ingame browser and the game problems are still occuring

A few questions for you all;
IS there any simple way of deleting mods or wiping the slate clean?
When you download a mod, and they patch the game, are all those mods now suspect for incompatibility?

I find what usually works is to first delete the mods in game - then check your MODS folder and manually delete any that didn't get deleted - then verify your cache for civ5 on steam. This should let you start out fresh.

Patches break many mods because mods alter core files that the patch then alters as well.
