Mac LAN Multiplayer working for anyone?

I bought a second copy to play with my son because I could not get games to show up in the lobby when playing a LAN game (steam family sharing allows one to play while steam offline, but the games would not show up, even using a join code).

Now with 2 copies, I have the same issue, LAN games do not show the game created on the other account, even with all DLC/mods disabled.

I am able to see internet based games, so we will be able to play that way now.

Having to manually disable the founders pack DLC for the game is really annoying though...
