I got a few questions about making a few mods to my game. I would also love some help actually make the said mods to my game. Here are some of the change/questions I have.

Can a unit have a choice of different upgrades when it's upgrading. For example, with the discovery of Magnetism, can I make the caravel upgrade to the Frigate and the Galleon and allow the player to choose? Or allow infantry to upgrade to Marines or Paratroopers.

What is it that lets explorered walk the way they do? Can this "ability" be given to other units like marines and guraillas?

What is the ability that lets units like archers, longbowmen and gurillas get a free shot at people attacking your stack? Can this "ability" be given to other units like Muketmen?

Can ZOC be given to units? The way an army auto attacks a unit that walks passed it, can this be given to other units?

You've had my answer to this one. I believe it's No.

There's a flag that tells units to ignore terrain movement cost penalties. You can add that capability to any land unit.

I believe you just have to give them bombard capability.

There are already several units that have ZOC. Cavalry have it for sure, and I'm pretty sure tanks and MA. It's just a flag in the unit definition.

PS. The best modders are undoubtedly in the C&C forum, if only because they have had far more experience at it.
