Map of Denmark

Hi everyone!

I hadn't seen anyone else do this one, so i decided to give it a shot. This is my first attempt at map creation, so please tell me what you think.

Yeah, its great, I reckon you could do a good one of the British Isles, as a suggestion.

hehehe a nice map which is very acurately made ( I am from denmark myself).
Though I see some flaws. Ofcourse there is all the rescources but to hell with those!!! a map without res is borring like hell. But those mountains placed around were making rofl like there was no tomorrow.. I hardly can imagine how anyone can call Himmelbjerget (157m) a mountain or the highest point in DK (around 170-180m) but despite those flaws it is really nice. Perhaps some more marshland in the southern judland

but your map is nice... but I don't know why Struer is a player starting location

JuuL, I actually noticed your project some days ago. Haven't had the chance to try it out yet but it looks quite impressive I have to say. Anyway, I had fun making the map...

I had no particular reason for chosing Struer... I guess I just thought it was a good location. Maybe Herning would have made more sense.

Michael, well yeah the mountains are a long shot I know But I thought it would be more fun this way albeit not that realistic. Anyway since the scale for this one is pretty far from most of the maps out there (1 sq = 4 km) you might say that goes for altitude as well.

More marshland in southern Jutland sounds like a good idea. I was a bit worried that area was a bit too 'boring'... no offense guys

Ahh... mostly Aarhus. I do, however, work in Copenhagen, so I cross the country two or three times a month. Wouldn't it be great if real-life railroads had infinite movement?

Yes, that would be great. I think DSB would be happy... arriving on time would be so much easier for them...

I don't want to sound rude... but there isn't any mountains in Denmark, is there? Was the highest 'mountain' in Denmark about 300 meters 'high'? LÅL.

I don't think it's more than 200 meter. But as thejuke already said, this changes what you can call "a mountain". (Please read the thread before posting)
btw, thejuke, you should try to place some more rivers in southern Jylland.

Nice map, it could be nice to have oil-platforms in the game, because all danish oil comes from the ocean.

Yep it does come from the ocean Alright, but a bit further out than this map goes as far as I can see... other than that the map is great... if you overlook the "flaws" that have already been pointed out
