Is it possible to share savegames and maps at the current state?
I have problems locating where maps are stored in my Mac for Civ VI,
So I was guessing if in Civ VII it was possible to choose where to save the savegame files, and Maps, even if Idk if there are any maps
already around, that are not wrapped as "MODS", which constantly bugs out when trying to load if you have any mods installed...
In theory, correct me if I'm wrong, saving WITHOUT "as MODS" should allow all kind of user whatever mods he has installed, to be able to launch the
map in the editor and or use it as a normal map for its game.
In Civ VI this is frustrating. There is no way to save a game savefile on the desktop and also for the maps.
So I have no idea where the files are located on my mac, and it's taking me time to look around when it should be as easy as to
let us save to Desktop if we want, then use the import function to put the file into the folder that the game needs it to be in order for it to work.
But no. Let's complicate our lifes a little bit further.
So, I was guessing, in which situation are C7 users now for this particular case...
you know, something that PC (and MAC) users, should be able to get around easily...
What is the state of the infrastructure?
Civ VI infrastructure yet it seems not really complete.
Hopefully on windows is a little bit easier, but still, the game on Mac don't let you choose where to put the save file so Idk if Windows would be much different.
At least on Win there are fewer places where to hide things..
