Do you have it?
It has been tedious work finishing games with every civ and I'm glad I'm done with it. I was kinda obsessed with getting it and today(2:34 am) I finished with the last civ, Gandhi. All games were played on immortal.
I am relieved, now I can play with whichever civ I want :)

BTW, have you seen this bug? I get it when I click on a leader in the diplomacy window and then click really fast where the trade button will be. It works for all leaders except Genghis and Alexander I think.

And I just have to ask, have you ever had a leader with "emotionless" status?

Wow lol napoleon looks like he is gonne fall from his horse and askia looks like a vampire who wants to eat my soul...... Kinda scary

And catherine well she is catherine

ANd pachachuchu is invissable I actually have this with the mongols

Pachacuti is running away in the lower right corner. Okay for me its just white with Alex and Genghis.

I'm guessing their animation bugs out. That looks like a cookie cutter default rigging pose for animation.

On the actual topic, I'm a bit of an achievement whore (cue phrase - "if it can be done, someone on the internet will do it" so I've been chipping away at Civ5 achievements whenever real life allows. The biggest timesinks honestly are the 1000-of-X (especially temples and forests if you didn't know to chop away)

Everything else can actually be done in turbo mode by abusing game settings, although I likewise did most of my initial civ choice playthroughs on Prince and harder, just because I wanted to actually play the game. :P

Pretty interesting psychologically that you would endure spending your free time playing the game in ways you dislike just to get this 'achievement'.

Haha! I do the same thing in other games too. Like in Battlefield BC2 you get gold stars for every 100 kills with a weapon and a platinum star when you reach 1000 kills.
So I pick one weapon at a time and get the platinum star with them, even though I don't like using some of them.
But I wasn't really in pain doing it in Civ. It was kinda fun trying each civ for real.

I don't know how close but Steam tells me I'm "so close..." to the Paul Bunyan achievement you get for chopping 1000 forests!

Well, the only civ I fiddled with the settings for was Polynesia. I wanted to make some use of their UA and I hadn't played an ocean game in ages. So I played on archipelago. All other games were on Pangea :)

Hehe :)

The nice thing with trying to get achievements is that it 'forces' you to play something or some style you normally wouldn't. And sometimes you find out something new or you find out you actually enjoy it more than you had expected.

In this case play with civs you'd probably would never have played. For instance playing with the Ottomans was something I'd never do, but when I was playing them I actually quite liked it, although I had to adapt my strategies, but that's only a good thing of course :)

Pachacuti is tired of your crap :p

Congrats on playing every Civ. That's my goal too. Got awhile, though. Does anyone know if, once you have DLC, if you have to win with the DLC, or does the achievement work simply by playing all the original civs?

It works without (winning) the DLC. Although I have Korea, I haven't won a game with them yet, but was still able to get this achievement.

OK, I think I'll focus on the original Civs before playing the rest of the DLC. I'm playing Spain currently, so after this game.

civ5 is quite generous with achivements. Counterstrike:Source is a real with some of its achivements. Yesterday I got one called 'Million points of blight' for scoring 1m points of damage. Each enemy has 100, so you need to kill at least 10.000 enemys.

I'm going thru the civs one at a time myself. I'm currently on Catherine. Next is Askia.

Got 'masters' a while back, I'm an achievement whore. Never seen 'emotionless' either, very interesting.

I've only seen it once. It was a long time ago, can't remember what the situation was. But Catherine is the perfect leader to be it :)

Yep, I just got Masters of the Universe achievement yesterday too. The last civ I had to play was the Inca. I also got Paul Bunyan :D (chop down 1000 forests in any number of playthroughs), King of the Mountain obviously :D (win as Pachacuti), and also Diplomacy by Other Means (fully explore the Autocracy policy tree), and hehe, Rest in Gold Pieces (gain 1000 gold from expended great people with the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus across any number of playthroughs) because I had about 6 great people to spend, 3 of which were gifted to me by my allied CS (in the end I had a 49 turn golden age, and it stayed golden age till the end of the game. :D Oh wait, I also forgot I acheived Enlightened Ruler as well, for finally unlocking Autocracy. Thats 6 total acheivements for one single game! NICE :D
