I'm doing a modification (requested by flamescreen) of my phoenician bireme. have you considered of using the firaxis galley (or one of the several modifications of that ship)? Or some other ancient warships (for example Smoking mirror's war galley? or mine roman or greek trireme?)

That indeed looks odd. I mean, come on - no sails?! I'm almost convinced that it must have had atleast some sort of sails.

I could take a closer look at it, but that sidewiev picture is not very helpful nor revealing... ...

Very cool pic. The unit Aaglo is making for me, is Minoan basicaly, but if you can ignore the emblem in it(but Egypt used it as well at one point or another), you can use it circa 1000b.c. i think.
