So, what's the plan? I'll play either 9 or 19 turns, just because I can't stand ending in a turn that doesn't end in 0. Anything in particular you want me to aim for?

I don't think I've ever whipped so much in such a short timeframe. But with almost 20 happy faces in size 4-8 cities, most of which are working crap land or being some self-proclaimed "master spy" (<-- think Dr. Evil here with his "fingers"), well, they were just asking for it! :lol:

Metal Boats and GiftfromtheGods were whipped so hard because they have good food sources and many crappy coast tiles (and a crappy spy spec). I was careful not to whip the capital or any villagers working resources.

I think we want to :assimilate: the rest of freds land soon, say, about the turn when the peace treaty ends :devil:

Keep most EP on shaka, he's the only one teching useful things during my turnset

City revolts cost about 200-300 EP now, so if you want to attack Fred, check if you have enough EP for a revolt or 3 (I think we already have enough EP for that)
 

lurker's comment: Sheesh, and it's not like any of them are even playing in the SGOTM. If this keeps up Mikhendi you should play yourself and move the thread to Strategy and Tips.

BTW, why do we have workshops in Kish? Caste System is useless to us, and with Guilds, workshops are only 3h. 3h0f0c tiles suck...

Anyways, I have a plan for Kish's growth. Grow onto the 3f farms, then the 1f2h forest (lumbermill eventually) then grow onto the 6c incense tile and stagnate. Because unless we pop resources on those desert hills or plains, everthing else is useless.

Other than that, I'll just be continuing the military and spy buildup, and assign spy specs at 6pop where applicable. Oh, and castles. We should get those.

DoW Fred when the treaty goes away and crush him further with our huge stack.

EDIT: O yeah, the reason I was going to post, was to say that the plan looks good. Since we can't tech faster then the AI's we should consider selling techs for diplo and/or money if available. OTOH, it's noce to be able to investigate every AI city in the world while keeping up with tech at the same time :cool:

Nice round! I couldn't help noticing that kind mr. Qin is building lots of shiny thingy's for us! How nice of him!


EDIT:

My thoughts on the next set:

1. sell literature to washington for 250g.
2. Whip the 3 ziggurats in the captured cities (to avoid starvation/working citizens)
3. Metal Boats should be our globe theathre city, for whipping it hard and future drafting. So start building some theaters.
4. Build/whip Markets and grocers in high-commerce cities, like the capital, delhi (shrined) and such.
5. It's ok to build wealth in crappy cities. Crappy cities will be very ok with basic buildings and the future espionage set, while building wealth.
6. Drunk Lagash should whip a theathre and both monasteries ASAP for culture, we're about to lose our village/wine (this is really urgent, the ethiopian city is one border pop ahead of us, we really need to race towards the 750 culture here)

Whipped some cities, started some theatres, convinced some population from giftfromthegods to become leave their city and become hindu missionaries (seemed fitting to "extract" them here ;) ).

Distributed some troops around to have at least 2 per city, and Pink dot Kish produced almost nothing but longbows for the session.

Set slider to 100% EP until some gold multipliers are up.

Note: only 77% success rate. He probably has a spy sitting there, reducing our succes chances. Other cities of his have 96ish% succes rate, so I spread some spies around in different cities, so we have some options.

If you look closely, I settled the final city in the former Great Northern Jungle, now known as the Not-so-great Northern fields of Grass, soon known as the Great northern Farmed region.

It still wasn't settled by shaka, because it's behind washington's borders, and washington also didn't settle it. Sofar, another lesson for us in AI settling mechanics!

1) We still have a GG waiting around, I suppose we want to make a medic III, or settle him in delhi for 3 promo units (2-->3 settled GG + vassalage + barracks)

2) 2 spies in caravels are on the way to Mao's land, 1 city is producing a 3rd caravel (and has a spy waiting next to it) for the same purpose.

3) I queued up some trebs in the cap to not accidentaly finish the sistine chapel I started for failure cash.

4) Tech sucks: 1440 AD and look at it!

Not much, I realized that with no instructions for workers, I just messed around any way I could. Roads, farms, and cottages mainly. Especially farms.

Also, Kish and Cow both built spies, so I set Kish to a Market and Cow to a Lighthouse.

Not much, Marbalous builds a spy so I set it to a forge.
