Maxed Affinities - Can't advance turn

I have 18 in all 3 affinities and I earned one last free affinity level near the end of the game and now I can't advance the turn because all the affinities are maxed and I can't use the free affinity. Is there anything I can do besides go back and avoid getting any free affinity levels?
